Evan Ross & Ashlee Simpson

In January Evan Ross, 25, son of Diana Ross and brother to Tracee, popped the question to his lady, Ashlee Simpson, 29 (sister to Jessica), and she said yes. Well, an engagement party has already occurred, and it was definitely a glamorous affair. Ashlee posted the photo below to her Twitter with the caption:

Big sis, Jessica Simpson, also posted a photo with her sister and bride-to-be, with the caption:

According to E! Online,the couple actually had their engagement party last night. They coordinated in ivory and silver and went all luxurious with Ashlee wearing a feathered headdress, and Evan wearing a short-sleeved fur coat. Clearly he obtained his love of opulent things from his mother. Speaking of his mom, Diana Ross, the event was actually held on her 70th birthday. And while we don’t see her in any of these particular photos, in an interview with E! News a few weeks back, Evan said that his mother was going to be heavily involved in the planning process for the engagement party, and the wedding.

“She’s involved in all levels of my life. She’s one of the most incredible mothers ever. She’s involved in every piece of our wedding [and] engagement party.”

And when will the wedding be? Keeping it coy but probably being dead serious, Ross said it could happen very, very soon:

“Honestly, we could go and get married right now. We just want to be married. We’re in love. This is the most incredible time I could ever think of in my life and I’m young, but the same time, I’ve lived a different life than most and I can’t think of a happier moment.”

These two are ready like Freddy to take it down the aisle and be married. This will be the first marriage for 25-year-old Evan, and the second for 29-year-old Ashlee, who was previously married to Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz. The former couple have a son named Bronx Mowgli Wentz.

In 1985, Arne Næss met American singer Diana Ross on a trip to the Bahamas. He and Ross married in 1985, had two sons, Ross Arne Næss (born October 7, 1987) and Evan Olav Næss (born August 26, 1988). The couple divorced in 1999. He died some years ago from a mountain climbing accident.
We wish the soon to be married couple all the happiness they deserve.

He was so great and a calming influence in the room.”The actor gained popularity as nerdy Carlton Banks on the popular TV sitcom “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” in the 1990s.Ribeiro is already dad to mixed daughter Sienna, 9, from a previous failed interracial marriage.

Adanna And David's White wedding

You remember Adanna Ohakim, one of the twin daughter's of former imo state governor. We read about her romantic proposal some time ago. She and her man David had their traditional wedding on the 28th of december last year. Their white wedding just held yesterday 1st march in Germany. We wish them marital bliss.

I am a sucker for interracial couples and i love beautiful love stories just as i know you do too. When i read about this cute couple, i could not resist sharing the story with you.

By the way, the bride is Nigerian. Her father is the former governor Ikedi Ohakim of Imo state Nigeria. David and Adanna had their Nigerian traditional wedding at her hometown Mbano Imo state on the 28th of december 2013. The bride is also a twin.And they are very identical. So you see i and Adanna have a lot in common, i am in an interracial marriage and also have an identical twin sister.

I got engaged on Dec 1st 2012, it was our 15-month anniversary. David had asked a few friends to make sure I was out of the house (he didn’t tell them he was going to propose, it was a secret he kept all to himself). They sent me a text inviting me out and I had said to David “Babe I’m going to lie with your name, I’m really not up for going out”. As contradictory as this may be to his plans, David convinced me to go with them. I was quite shocked he didn’t support my idea but I did go out. They stalled me as much as they could and I’m guessing when they received a signal from David, they decided it was time for me to go home.

I went upstairs and I saw David standing in the front of the apartment in an apron, he had cooked dinner. He kissed me and gave a romantic speech and reminded me that it was our anniversary haha (I had forgotten). I was so happy but I still didn’t suspect anything. He then said “I’m going to go into the apartment now, I want you to come in and meet me in the living room”. I opened the door and ..my oh my..!! Our best song was playing (Scotty McCreery – I love you this big), the lights were down, candles on both sides, petals on both sides, pictures of our relationship blown up and hung on both walls of the hall way. It was magic I tell you. I walked into the living room, David took my hands and walked me down a red carpet he had made and led me to sit down. He gave a speech (we often joke that I can’t remember anything he said) and then got down on “both” knees (I still mock him for getting down on both knees, but he insists it signifies extra loyalty and commitment lol). David proceeded to grab a box from his back pocket, but oops the box was stuck. I had suspected what was going on at this point so I started screaming, “What are you doing? You’re crazy, What are you doing??” haha. He finally got the box out and opened it and I remember him saying “I would love to spend the rest of my life with you”. I started crying and screaming and mumbling “Omg I can’t believe this” Forgetting that I hadn’t given a response, David pulled on my hands and said “Babe, I think this is the point where you say yes?” ..and I screamed a BIG YESSSS!!!!!Congrats Adanna and David!

Budding romance: Tyra only recently confirmed the news in January

Last month, Tyra confirmed that a sequel to Disney's television movie Life-Size is currently in development.

But the star kept mum on whether co-star Lindsay Lohan will reprise her role in the updated version of the 2000 cult hit.

Despite the confirmation of the film, Tyra didn't go into specifics.

'I can't [tell you anything] unfortunately,' she said. 'I'm under contract with Disney and I can't talk about it at all, except that it's coming. But it will be very different, very different. Very modern - a modern take.'

'I don't think it'll be out until probably 2015, but I'm guessing - it could be late 2014 or 2015. But it will be back - Life-Size will be back, better than ever.'
