White supremacist Craig Cobb arrested after 'patrolling' North Dakota town with a shotgun

Cobb and Kynan Dutton are being detained in Mercer County jail after allegedly intimidating residents in the Leith community
Craig Cobb before he is detained in custody Craig Cobb, a self-proclaimed white supremacist who was recently told he was 14 per cent of Sub-Saharan-African heritage has been detained by police, after North Dakota residents said he had confronted them with a shotgun.
Cobb and another man, Kynan Dutton, were arrested when they began patrolling the small town of Leith with a rifle and a shotgun, threatening and intimidating residents there. Dutton's wife Deborah was also present and followed the two men, recording their activities on a mobile phone. Grant County Sheriff Steve Bay said the men are now being held at the Mercer County Jail in Stanton, according to The Bismark Tribune, while the sheriff's office gathers evidence to bring charges against the two men. Leith City Councilman Lee Cook was involved in the incident on Saturday, the newspaper reported. He said he had just arrived at his home when Cobb and Dutton approached his property with guns. He claimed Dutton had his finger on the trigger of the rife, but it was not pointed directly at him. Prior to his arrest, Cobb allegedly sent this message to the Tribune: "Because of the many violences (sic) and harassments against we (sic) and the children, we have commenced armed patrols of Leith." In a second text message to the newspaper, Cobb allegedly said he also plans to rename some of his property the "Adolph (sic) Hitler Pvt. Park of Leith." Sixty-two-year-old neo-nazi Cobb claims he follows the 'Creator' religion which “favours racial awareness” and has been attempting to create a “white enclave” in North Dakota by quietly buying up land in Leith, despite anti-racism rallies and town meetings against his plans. He submitted his DNA as part of host Trisha Goddard's Race in America series, who gave him the results to a delighted audience, telling Cobb: “You have a little Black in you”. However, Cobb can be heard dismissing the results as “statistical noise” and refused to fist bump with her. The married father-of-three was already notorious for his infamous far-right 'Podblanc' video sharing site because YouTube bans racist content.
